On November 2016 the SUN Civil Society Network organised a learning exchange between 9 Civil Society Alliances (CSAs).
The Alliances traveled to Rwanda to learn from local best practices and discuss how to overcome common challenges. The exchange focused on practical learning in relation to: multi stakeholder coordination, evidence based advocacy, policy review and accountability, communication for behavioral change, social mobilisation, integrated approaches to nutrition, value chain and decentralised interventions.
The international exchange has been incredibly powerful in strengthening collaboration between countries and a diverse range of stakeholders.
Innovation Plans have been developed by each of the 9 SUN Alliances to put into practice the lessons learnt and to enhance their national strategies to scale up nutrition.
